Information Technology

Information technology is one of the utter most requirements of 21st century. Knowing the fact and its absence in youth LPRSO started some initiatives in Drosh to abreast new generation particularly female with IT education.

Drosh Institute of Computer Sciences:

Drosh Institute of Computer Science (D.I.C.S) is a subsidiary of LPSRO, established to foster computer literacy and technical skills in the area. It was decided by the Executive body of LPSRO that computer literacy centre should be established in the close proximity enabling female students. Initially two centers were established in Drosh with least available internally generated resources. The centers provided excellent learning opportunities of new skills to both male and female candidates / students. LPSRO hired the service of trained / skilled teacher locally for the centers. Both centers charge nominal fee to support operational expenses. To expand this model in other areas of Chitral donor support is required. Through this intervention LPRSO developed a lot of professionals and helped them to get employment.
